DO yOu think English is a strange language? Well, in my opinion every language can be. Take a look at this word: eggplant is a kind of vegetable, it does not contain eggs.
Can you give one similar example? Is there a word in English you find strange because the meaning does not have any relation with the word?

ReplyDeletebutterfly is another example of a strnage word, butter can not fly because is a kind of cream made whit milk(why butterfly is the name of an insect?)
